29th Bor Sang Umbrella and Sankamphaeng Handicraft Festival 2012
The annual Bor Sang Umbrella and Sankampaeng Handicraft Festival is inviting everyone to celebrate its 29th festival at Ban Bor Sang, from January 20 – 22, 2012.
Throughout this festive event, craft shops and stores lining on both sides of the Bor Sang street will transform into a beautiful village decorated in Lanna Thai style with colorful umbrellas and traditional lanterns.
Guests to the festival will not only enjoy shopping a variety of handicrafts, but will also indulge in traditional and cultural performances. In addition to entertaining activities, you will find delight in observing a grand procession of parasols and local products and Beauty Pageant contest while helping yourself with northern-style “Khan Toke” meals.
