The Royal Chiangmai Golf is located 30 minutes drive from Chiang Mai city with the features of 18 hole, par 72. The par 4, 4th ( Hcp 1) is an absolute brute of a hole, playing at 440 yards from the back tees and uphill all the way. Not a hole for the faint hearted. This hole is an exception as the key to scoring well, points more towards accuracy than length. Moreover, considering there is 94 well-placed bunkers to catch any stray shots. You will find many streams and lakes throughout the 18 holes but not all are in play. The course offers all levels of golfers an enjoyable round with a chance to score well.
Many of the holes are set with beautiful mountain backdrops, so if your game goes to the pack at least the course and its backdrops will be pleasing to the eye.
All Tees, Fairways and Roughs are grassed with 419 Bermuda grass and Greens with imported Tiff Dwarf Bermuda grass.
Club house
After your round of golf, you can relax at the luxuriously appointed club house.This club house provides the guests with all the facilities one could expect from an international restaurant to the luxuriously appointed reception and banqueting rooms.
For the golfer who would like to sharpen his skills, there is also a chipping area, a putting green,and of course, a driving range. Added to all of this, The Royal Chiangmai Golf Resort has a fully equipped pro-shop to take care of all your equipment needs.
