Khaomao-Khaofang Restaurant has transferred the imagery jungle to new restaurant in Chiangmai. Experience the numerous plants and beautiful waterfalls to give a cool and relaxing atmosphere during the day, with warm and delightful music at night. You are welcome to feel the friendly atmosphere and taste delicious original Thai dishes everyday.
A landscaped car park, more than large enough for the 200 cover restaurant greets guests on arrival. The equally beautiful entranceway leads through and opens up into a memorable dome which forms the main atrium.
The cuisine is predominately Thai, with an exhaustive menu card. Starters average 120 THB, fried rices at 80 THB, Thai salads at 80THB, whole fish dishes at 180 THB with special palate teasing, raw prawns in fish sauce at 120THB. A fettucine carbonara is 120 THB, whilst a big Singha is 95THB and cocktails go for 120 THB.
It’s pricey but one’s paying for excellent Thai style service, an innovative and congenial atmosphere and very tasty, well prepared fare.
It’s very popular with monied Thais and there’s a service to match the customer. Tables are well spaced apart and discreet matters need not be whispered with the waterfall drowning out all the secrets.
Kids are well amused with the tropical environment and mosquitoes are kept at bay with repellent coils under every table.
Khaomang Khaofang is open for lunch and dinner until 10pm and is ideal for celebrations and entertaining guests for a truly different dining experience.
